How long it takes

Editing a wedding properly takes longer than most couples expect, and we would rather set the expectation honestly than quietly miss it. These are the timings we work to. If a date is going to slip we tell you before it passes.

Before the wedding

One to two weeks after booking we plan the day with you: the running order, the locations, the people who must be in the film, and anything the venue restricts. Nothing is needed from you on the day itself.

After the wedding

Your trailer

Three to five minutes, ready about a month after the wedding. This is the version most couples share.

Your full film

Fifteen to sixty minutes depending on the package, ready one to two months after the wedding. It keeps the vows, the speeches and the ceremony close to whole.

Your photographs

The full set is ready within two months. We usually send a handful of favourites within the first fortnight, but we can’t promise a date for those.

How you receive everything

Drafts and revisions

Every booking includes one draft and two rounds of revisions. Send everything you want changed in one message rather than a few at a time. It is faster for you and it keeps the edit coherent.

If you need something faster than the timings above, a 48-hour priority revision is available for an additional fee, subject to what else is in the edit suite that week.

Find out if your date is still free

We take a limited number of weddings a year so we can give each one the time it needs. Saturdays in summer go first.
